US cable channel HBO, which aired the popular TV series "Sex And The City", is planning a new version but with real-life women living in New York.

LONDON: US cable channel HBO, which aired the popular TV series "Sex And The City", is planning a new version but with real-life women living in New York.

According to contactmusic.com, the channel is now contacting women who are fashionable and qualified to appear on the yet-untitled show. It will be along similar plot lines as the characters in "Sex And The City".

The US magazine W said: "The series will follow the lives of a group of glamorous and dynamic girlfriends in their 20s living in Manhattan."
