NBA star Garnett to visit India

NEW DELHI: NBA great Kevin Garnett will set off on a three-day tour of Delhi, Agra and Bangalore this month to boost the growth of basketball in the country.
    
With the theme of the tour as "We" -- aiming to develop team spirit in the sport -- Garnett will visit a school in Delhi on July 16 to watch students compete in the finals of the Adidas 'The Power 5ive' basketball challenge.

 

The nine-time NBA All-Star player will visit the Taj Mahal in Agra before heading to Bangalore, where he will visit an SOS village.
