Yash Raj to market film merchandise

If you loved Aamir Khan's mirchi pendant that he wore in 'Fanaa' or for that matter any accessory or costume from Yash Chopra's upcoming movies, you won't have to wait for a one-off auctions to buy them.

In a move to brand products worn by their stars, Yash Raj Films have started a new merchandise wing which will market such stuff through a chain of music stores and multiplexes.

"Film merchandising is rampant in the grey market. With this move, we are making it easier and more organised," says Parna Patkar, who heads the merchandise division at Yash Raj.
