Planning to go back to Goa and buy your favourite knick-knack you brought during your last vacation, but running short of leaves? Well, here’s your chance to revisit the memories as the city gears up for ‘Wassup Pune 2014’, Pune’s first-ever Goan flea market, where you can indulge in shopping, dining and rocking live performances just the way you did last time. 

From interesting handicrafts, fashion clothing, jewellery and accessories, visitors will have a tough time to choose from a sea of products and activities which will be available at the venue, said Durgesh Khandelwal, organiser of the event. There will live painting and block-printing workshops where you can come and learn the skills from the artists. 

Some of the major attractions will be hand-made jewellery, printed bags and t-shirts, and dream catchers. “We will showcase home decor, fashion articles and office accessories with an element of Indian mix,” says Vikram Nandwani, who is all set to put up his stall ‘Verry India’ at the Flea market.

For music-lovers, there will be some scintillating performances by some of the popular bands such as ‘A Mutual Question’, Nu-H, and Rumesh Inc, who will make the audience groove to their foot-tapping beats.For the hungry souls, there will a number of popular food stalls by Faaso’s, Dumpling King, Krushit, Zambar, Maroosh and Sticky Grill. 

In association with dna, Wassup Pune 2014 is sponsored by Kingfisher and Radio City. It will be held at Rohivilla Palace grounds, Koregaon Park, on April 26 & 27, from 12 noon to 10 pm.
