As per the rule, the varsity cannot declare the results without Steering Committee’s approval. The committee is comprising of many senior officials from the UGC as well other officials of the varsity.
The members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) along with hundreds of other candidates had given a memorandum to the UoP vice chancellor Dr Wasudev Gade as the varsity was given the responsibility to coordinate the SET exams in the state.
Vivekanand Ujalambkar, one of the students, said, “Its been more than five months when we gave the exams, but the administration has not yet declared the results. Because of this delay, students are not able to fill the forms of other examinations.”
