Two arrested for chain snatching in Kurla

The Kurla police on Tuesday arrested two chain snatchers, who targeted women at  traffic signals after it got dark.

The police officials said that the accused did not use motorbikes as is the norm in majority of the chain snatching cases. The officials said that the accused would then escape into the lanes and by lanes of the road after committing the crime.

According to the police, the men have been involved in four cases of chain snatching. “Further investigation is on in the case,” said a police officer.
