The second day of the DNA EDUSCOPE, an educational fair organised by DNA, met with an overwhelming response, as the seminars focused on careers in animation, hospitality, media and entertainment and travel and tourism. The highlight of the event was the visit of the vice chancellor of the University of Mumbai, Dr Rajan Welukar.

“Even in the age of information technology where any kind of information is just a click away, such career fairs are important and helpful to students as they give students a chance to voice their queries and get immediate feedback from professionals,” said Welukar. Welukar added that while choosing an institute and courses of their choice, students should double check if the institutes and courses are recognised by the Mumbai university.

The second day was focused on shedding light on careers in animation, hospitality, media and entertainment and travel and tourism. Interactive sessions were held by industry experts like Sanjiv Waeerkar, chief creative officer, MAAC; Ruchita Verme, director of the ITM; John Lee, dean and Chaitanya Chinchlikar, vice president, Whistling Woods; and Chittaranjan Bhattacharjee, dean and SBU head Kuoni Academy.
