The Air India Express flight had crashed while trying to land at Mangalore’s Bajpe airport at 6.04 am on May 22. Out of the 166 passengers and crew on board, 158 had died.

People who lost a relative or passengers who were injured in Air India Express IX 812 flight crash in Mangalore and do not know how to claim compensation, can seek help from a special team.
The team that started working in Mangalore on Thursday will also help people on Friday. “Air India will be positioning a team of officials, including lawyers, in Mangalore, who will assist the survivors and relatives of the victims of the Air India Express flight IX 812 in their claim for compensation,” said a statement from the airline. The airline has already set up six centers across the country to help the claimants with the interim compensation. A emergency team of Air India officials is already in Mangalore to help the victims and survivors.
