Couple nabbed for drug trafficking

NCB officials from the Maharashtra & Goa unit nabbed a couple from Delhi who were involved in trafficking huge amount of narcotics brought from Kashmir into Mumbai.

A trap was laid on Saturday near the Kashimira police station in Mira Road and one Amit Brijmohan, 33, was apprehended. He had just got down at the stop from a bus that had come from Udaipur.

When NCB officials checked his bag, they found eight scotch-taped packets containing brown balls. They were found to be the purest form of Hashish brought from Kashmir.

Officials also found 20kg of hashish at Brijmohan’s residence in New Delhi and arrested his wife Alka.
