Masood Aalam Sheikh, 40, a Govandi resident and Mohammad Shakeel Sheikh, 30, a Mumbra resident had boarded the same train and had met at Parel railway station to reach their workplace. The Duo were tailors working for a garment factory stitching curtains and bedsheets. Both were from the same family and Shakeel had recently shifted to Mumbra.
"We have not informed his family members as they were the only bread winners for the families. Their wives, sisters and children have not been informed yet and we have told them that they are injured in the tragedy," said Tabrez Muqadam, brother.
"Being the only breadwinner, we expect that the railway would pay us compensation for the loss of our two family members," said Muqadam.
