Suburban trains in Mumbai will be affected due to maintenance block. According to a media report, trains on the Western Railway (WR) and Central Railways’s (CR) main and harbour line will be affected.
A CR spokesperson said: “On mainline, block will be taken on Thane-bound slow corridor between Mulund and Thane from 11.20am to 4.20pm. During this period, Thane-bound slow locals will not be available at Vidyavihar, Kanjurmarg and Nahur stations.”
The block on Harbour line will be taken from CSMT-Bandra and CSMT-Chunbhatti on both up and down lines between 11:10 AM and 4:40 PM. Special trains will run between Panvel and Kurla sections during the block hours.
On Western Railways line, the block will be between Santa Cruz and Goregaon between 10:35 AM and 3:35 AM.
On Harbour line, block will be taken between CSMT-Bandra and CSMT-Chunbhatti on both up and down lines from 11.10am to 4.40pm.
However special local trains will run on Panvel-Kurla sections during the block hours.

CENTRAL LINE
MATUNGA-THANE DOWN SLOW LINE FROM 11:20 AM TO 4:20 PM
• All down slow line services leaving Matunga from 10:57 am to 4:20 pm will be diverted on down fast line between Matunga & Mulund stations halting at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup & Mulund stations & further re-diverted to down slow line at Mulund station.
• Down slow line services will not be available at Vidyavihar, Kanjurmarg & Nahur stations. Passengers of these stations are allowed to travel via Ghatkopar/Bhandup/Mulund stations during the block period.
• All up fast line services leaving Kalyan from 10:54 am to 3:06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar & Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts & will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
• All down fast line services leaving CSMT from 10:48 am to 3:40 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund & Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts & will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
• All slow line services arriving & leaving CSMT between 11:00 am & 5:00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
HARBOUR LINE
CSMT-CHUNABHATTI/BANDRA UP & DOWN LINES FROM 11:10 AM TO 4:40 PM
• Down harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving from Vadala Road from 11:34 upto CSMT departure from 4:47 pm & up harbour line services for CSMT leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9:53 am to 3:20 pm will remain suspended.
• Down harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri/Goregaon leaving CSMT from 9:56 am to 4:43 pm & up harbour line services for CSMT leaving Goregaon/Andheri/Bandra from 10:45 am to 4:58 pm will remain suspended.
• However, Special services will run between Panvel - Kurla sections during the block period.
• Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Trans-harbour/Main Line/Western Railway from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm during the block period.
WESTERN LINE
BETWEEN SANTA CRUZ & GOREGAON FROM 10:35 AM TO 3:35 PM
• During the block period, all fast line trains will run on slow lines between Santacruz & Goregaon. Due to this, some up & down local trains will remain cancelled.
