For someone who had to almost reluctantly step down from the crease when he clearly had the energy to go for another decade, Ratan’s empathy for Sachin was apparent, but more so his admiration that someone so young had such amazing grace. “Great to see the genuine public adoration for Sachin Tendulkar. He has truly made us all proud. He has achieved so much with such humility.” It takes one to know one.
