Stating that the so-called phone call from the underworld don Dawood Ibrahim was done by using a banned software called CrazyCall, revenue minister Eknath Khadse on Wednesday informed that the Cabinet meeting was also apprised of the same and it has expressed concern over the issue.

Revealing that he has received vital call details from Pakistan, Khadse said that he has handed over the details to investigating agencies.

An IT professional also demonstrated the software in front of mediapersons at Khadse's cabin, which enables one to call anyone from anywhere in the World and phone number of any person can be displayed on the phone which receives the call.

Khadse was speaking to mediapersons at his office in Mantralaya. He said that it was through the in-laws of MLC Gurumukh Jagwani that the information from Pakistan was availed. "Jagwani's in-laws, being settled in Karachi and being Indian, have gathered the information which I have handed over to the investigating agencies, including anti-terrorist squad, crime branch and police department. I would not divulge the details to media, the investigating agencies which would bring out the truth," he said.

Criticising Anjali Damania, he said that it was Damania who had met him at least five to six times when he was the leader of Opposition. Damania had made allegations against Khadse last week about land dealings and alleged scams. "Damania had bought an agricultural land near Kondale dam in Raigad district despite not being a farmer. She had met me in this regard," he said adding: "If these people have any evidence then they should hand it over to investigating agencies, instead they are approaching media every other day for cheap publicity."
