Fans and curious onlookers crowded outside Kandivli police station controversial godwoman Radhe Maa entered its premises to record her statement on Friday. And almost everyone was keen to take a photograph as soon with the woman came out.

Santosh Kumar was one such. He stood there for 15 minutes with his mobile phone directed at the gate to ensure that he too could catch an image of Radhe Maa. "We have come to see her. We saw a lot of people, so we decided to stop by," said Kumar.

Radhe Maa followers, on the other hand, were excited enough to hang around for over four hours without moving. Some even compared her to Lord Ram. A woman who did not wish to speak to this reporter was heard talking on her phone: "Nothing will happen to our Devi Maa. Even bhagwan Ram had to undergo vanvaas."

Children who were suspected to be Radhe Maa's were whisked away. Her aide, Talli Baba, when approached for his comment, said: "Thanks. We will not be talking."

Meanwhile, Ramesh Joshi of Dharm Rakshak Mahamanch on Friday filed a complaint at the Kandivli police station. He wanted action to be taken on Radhe Maa and officers who did not take action on her when she carried a trident in a flight. "She claims that her touch can give a woman a male child. A case should be filed for promoting Andha Shraddha," said Joshi.
