While the company hasn't announced the India launch dates yet, the services will be available for customers in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru in June this year.
In the UAE, where the services are already activated, Zomato said, "Zomato Gold members will get up to two rounds of 1+1 drinks on any beverage at participating restaurants, bars, and lounges. You can use this benefit at any time and on any day of the week, across over 200 premium gold partners located in a number of popular areas in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
In Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Zomato Gold will allow its members to "enjoy up to two rounds of 1+1 on any beverage at many top restaurants, bars and lounges. These benefits are available anytime and on any day of the week," Zomato said.
Currently, there are three plans available - a three-month programme, six-month, and a 12-month membership programme. The introductory prices start at AED 99 i.e. approximately Rs 1,761 for three months. Later the prices may be revised to AED 149 (nearly Rs 2,651).
Zomato says it has ensured that most of its Gold partners are top-rated places on Zomato. "There's no restriction on the drinks you can order with your membership," Zomato said.
About the India launch and roll-out elsewhere, Zomato said, "Gold will arrive in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru somewhere around June. We will decide launch dates for other international cities depending on what we learn over the next few weeks/ months. Our Melbourne, Johannesburg, and Istanbul teams are waiting eagerly to launch Zomato Gold in their cities.
