Suzuki Motorcycles has registered a growth of 33% in its sales volume in July this year compared to the same period last year.

The two-wheelers' company, a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, sold 36,081 units in the months, compared to 27,118 units in 2014.

The company's executive vice president Atul Gupta said “Suzuki sales continue to show double digit growth despite a slight downturn in the automobile market. This is a very heartening sign and several factors are responsible for it.  The 150 cc segment of motorcycles shows signs of growth and Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF, premium 155cc motorcycles, are both doing well. Also, Suzuki Access and Swish scooters continue to remain very popular choices in a segment which is seeing good growth. We expect an even larger percentage increase in sales around the festive period, and have a positive outlook for the coming quarter.”

The company currently offers the Gixxer, Gixxer SF, GS150R, Hyate, Slingshot Plus motorcycles, V-Strom; superbikes like Hayabusa, Hayabusa-Z, GSX-S1000F ABS; and scooters like Lets, Access 125 and Swish 125
