Sentiment remained firm mostly on increased offtake by stockists and retailers to meet the ongoing wedding season demand coupled with pick up in export demand, marketmen said.

Almond gurbandi and girdhi prices were higher by Rs 100 each at Rs 12,100-12,200 and Rs 5,500-5,600 per 40 kg, respectively.

Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 10 each to conclude at Rs 1,070-1,080, Rs 940-950, Rs 890- 900 and Rs 790-800 per kg, respectively.

Chilgoza-roasted increased by Rs 100 to finish at Rs 2,600-2,800 per kg.

Copra prices rose by Rs 200 to conclude at Rs 8,700-11,000 per quintal.

Coconut powder traded higher at Rs 4,200-4,400 against previous closing of Rs 3,800-4,200 per 25 kg.

Kishmish Indian yellow and green rose by Rs 100 each to finish at Rs 4,500-5,000 and Rs 5,000-8,500 per 40 kg.

Pistachio hairati and peshwari prices rose up to Rs 30 to close at Rs 1,450-1,500 and Rs 1,550-1,620 per kg, respectively.

Walnut and its kernel also traded higher at 290-440 and Rs 800-1,450 against previous week's closing of Rs 285-435 and Rs 795-1,445 per kg, respectively.

On the other hand, almond California prices drifted lower up to Rs 600 to end the week at Rs 16,200-16,600 per 40 kg, while its kernel declined by Rs 10 to close at Rs 580-590 per kg. (MORE)
