In Udaipur district, Election Commission (EC) is working hard to ensure increase in the voting percentage in the upcoming assembly elections. In order to make sure that most of the voters of Udaipur district use their voting rights, many programmes are being organised by the District Election Department to impart awareness for the same. The state will go to polls on December 7.

If on one hand the administration is organising rangoli competitions in schools and colleges, on the other hand festivals are also being used for generating awareness. Voters are also being encouraged to come forward and cast their votes by means of graffiti paintings on the walls of the city. The painting of Statue of Democracy, made on the wall of RSMM near Madhuban Chauraha is drawing a lot of attention of the residents.
