Former chief minister and AICC general secretary Ashok Gehlot called Raje government’s decision to discontinue ‘Mukhyamantri BPL Jeevan Raksha Kosh Yojna’ most unfortunate.

“Having biased towards schemes launched by the previous Congress government, the Raje government has discontinued these public welfare schemes. It is highly condemnable. Due to such biased politics, the people taught the ruling party a lesson in recent three by-election where it lost very badly. Now, the people will reply to the discontinuance of the scheme in general assembly election,” said Gehlot releasing a statement on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Gehlot also took a jibe at the chief minister Vasundhara Raje for organising thanksgiving programs at her residence. “If Rajasthan BJP govt had worked in its 4 yrs tenure, there would not have been a situation to call and collect people from different parts of the state in name of thanksgiving for Budget 2018 announcements. What an irony, MLA ticket aspirants are being compelled to bring people to thank the CM,” Gehlot tweeted.
