11 injured, 3 critical as bus overturns in Baran

At least 11 persons including women, three of whom are reportedly critical, sustained injuries when a private passenger bus, taking about 45 to 50 passengers on Tuesday evening overturned after one of the tiers busted near Chinod village under Kishanganj police station of Baran district. Three critically injured were rushed to the government hospital in Baran while other eight were taken to the hospital at Kishanganj where they are undergoing treatment.

At least 11 passengers, including women, sustained injuries in the mishap, she said adding three of the critically injured were directly rushed to district government hospital in Baran while others to the hospital at Kishanganj. At least six of the 11 injured have sustained fractures, the SHO further said. A case of negligent driving would be lodged against the driver of the private bus as the investigation into the matter is currently underway, she further added.
