We will go by doctors' advice: Delhi Police chief on Anna Hazare removal

In the wake of apprehensions expressed by fasting Anna Hazare that he would be forcibly taken out of Ramlila Maidan, Delhi Police Commissioner BK Gupta on Wednesday night said they would go by the advice of doctors.

"We will go by doctors' advice," Gupta told PTI.

Team Anna member Kiran Bedi also claimed she has received a text message from the Delhi Police Commissioner that Hazare will not be removed till the doctors declare that his condition is critical.

Earlier in the day as the confrontation between government and Anna Hazare escalated, Bedi claimed the Gandhian may be forcibly moved out of Ramlila Maidan by police.

"Reliable information is that Anna may be removed forcibly," Bedi had tweeted.
