Spicejet flight return back to Ahmedabad airport after snag

A Mumbai-bound SpiceJet flight with 217 passengers on board from here landed back at the city airport after a technical fault was reported in the aircraft, airport officials said.

This is the second time in last ten days when this flight has been hit by technical fault.

On June 2, the same flight had taken off after a delay of over five hours from the Ahmedabad airport due to a similar problem.

Spicejet officials said they were trying to fix the problem.

The flight took off from the Ahmedabad airport at 7.09 pm and returned at 7.41 pm, airport officials said.
