'Rs100 crore Border Area Development Programme (BADP) earmarked for the year 2010-11 is under implementation to augment basic amenities in border areas,' Mubarak Gul, adviser to chief minister, said.

Jammu & Kashmir government today said Rs100 crore is being spent for augmentation of basic amenities in areas along Indo-Pak border.
"Rs100 crore Border Area Development Programme (BADP) earmarked for the year 2010-11 is under implementation to augment basic amenities in border areas," Mubarak Gul, adviser to chief minister, said.
The programme is being implemented in 44 blocks, he said, adding that the project included improvement of roads, healthcare, science and technology, digging of tube wells, drinking water facilities and irrigation schemes.
