Muktak Kapadia gets conditional bail

The Sessions court on Monday granted bail to Muktak Kapadia, a trustee of HB Kapadia accused in the dummy writers case.

The Sessions court on Monday granted bail to Muktak Kapadia, a trustee of HB Kapadia accused in the dummy writers case. 

However, the court also attached the condition that Kapadia shall not leave the state without its permission and has asked him to cooperate with the prosecution agency whenever required.

The investigation authority has alleged that Kapadia had played an important role in the dummy writers case by not only providing but also executing the entire plan. Kapadia had provided two students from his school to Kotak and Patel, without following proper procedures of seeking permission from the education department.

Police further alleged that Swastik Shishu Vihar School had provided two genuine writers with proper process and government permission to the two examinees - Harsh and Komal.

However, these two writers alleged that were told to cheat and write the papers and eventually informed their parents about the matter. They also refused to come as writers from the next paper.

The very next day, Kapadia brought two other students from HB Kapadia School, however, without proper government procedures. After member of executive counsel, Manish Doshi, filed a PIL in the high court, the entire case was exposed.
