Law student skips classmate's birthday, perishes in blast

Friends asked him to skip his day in Delhi High Court to celebrate their classmate's birthday but 21-year-old Amanpreet Singh, interning there, did not budge and had to pay with his life.

Singh, a first-year LLB student, was interning at high court and died in the blast outside the court complex this morning.

His relative said Singh's friends were insisting that he skip his day in the court and attend the birthday party but he did not relent.

He told his friends that he wanted to pick up a file from the court.
