I killed Aarushi: Rajkumar

Fifty-five days after the sensational Noida double murders shook the country, a TV news channel claimed the case had been cracked with one of the accused confessing to killing Aarushi Talwar.

Headlines Today, quoting sources, reported late on Thursday that Rajkumar, an accused in the murders, has admitted during a narcoanalysis test  to killing the teenager on the night of May 15-16. Rajkumar is the domestic help of the Durranis, friends of the Talwars.

He was flown to Bangalore on Tuesday for a second narco test at the Forensic Science Laboratory there. The CBI had arrested Rajkumar after it seized a T-shirt, with traces of human blood, from his possession.

According to the channel, Rajkumar has said he along with Vijay Mandal and Krishna went to the Talwars’ residence that night where they sat drinking with Hemraj.

Rajkumar reportedly said they started talking dirty about Aarushi who was asleep in the adjoining room. The four drunk men then entered her room but she woke up. They then gagged her and hit her till she fell unconscious.

Realising things were going out of hand, Hemraj walked out, sources have told the channel about Rajkumar’s confession. The other three then followed Hemraj to the terrace and slit his throat with a khukri.
