Jammu and Kashmir state Congress president Saifuddin Soz today said the Hurriyat Conference will enter into talks with the Centre to find a solution to the Kashmir issue.

"My information is that Hurriyat will talk to Delhi... to find a solution to the Kashmir issue," Soz told reporters after addressing a public meeting here.

His said this to a query that the Hurriyat Conference headed by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq was demanding creation of a congenial atmosphere prior to initiation of a dialogue.

"I am not a spokesman of the Hurriyat. Dialogue is going on on the front burner and back burner," Soz said but declined to elaborate.

He said the Centre was serious in the dialogue with all shades of opinion to find a lasting solution to the Kashmir issue and the Congress both at the Centre as well as in the state would "facilitate" it.

"PM's doors are open (for dialogue) for people of all hues, including leaders of Hurriyat camp. Government is serious about talks and Congress party will facilitate vigorous dialogue," Soz added.
