Cops in Deesa to probe Ahmedabad teen’s death

A day after a youth plunged to his death from the fifth floor of Shikhar Tower in Shyamal area, the police are believed to be on the look out for the mob that had followed him. It is believed that it was the mob that forced the youth to jump from the building. On the second day of investigation in the case, Anandnagar police allegedly found that a girl who is connected to the incident lives in Deesa, a small town in North Gujarat. Police said that the group of 20 that chased the youth seems to have come from Deesa. The victim was identified as Kapil Thakkar.

Police said that the brother of the victim is a doctor and lives in Deesa. According to Anandnagar police inspector MS Sindha a police team was sent to Deesa for investigation.  At 11pm on Thursday around 20 people mobbed the house of one Thakkar located on the fifth floor of Shikhar Tower. The mob, which was actually looking for Kapil’s friend Jitu Thakkar, also beat up Kapil as well who got killed when he fell from the building.
