Asaram trains gun on media

Asaram Bapu, whose ashram has been in the eye of the storm following the mysterious deaths of two children a year ago, has come down heavily on the media while delivering a speech to his followers on the occasion of Guru Purnima on Tuesday. 

Dubbing the media as “selfish”, Asaram Bapu said that “media is not reporting in favour of me”, while he was delivering his Guru Purnima speech at his ashram at Motera. The ashram’s authorities did not allow the media to cover Bapu’s speech.

“Televisions and news channels work only to blackmail others. Someone once advised me to give something to the media.

However, I replied I will not throw piece of bread towards the dogs. I want to make them my brothers, rather than dogs. I want to give them knowledge of good things,” Asaram was alleged to have said in his speech.
