Wardha is one of the 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra. It's spread over Amravati and Wardha districts and consists of the following Vidhan Sabha segments - Dhamangaon Railway, Morshi, Arvi, Deoli, Hinganghat and Wardha.

The polling date is on April 10 and counting of votes on May 16. The BJP’s Ramdas Tadas is taking on Congress’ Charulata Khajashingh Tokas and BSP’s Shaileshkumar Premkishoriji Agarwal.

. In 2014, the seat was won by Ramdas Tadas who won 215783 votes beating Congress Sagar Meghe. In 2009, Datta Meghe of Congress had beat BJP's Suresh Waghmare by 95,918 votes.

Since 1999, the seat has flipped between BJP and Congress.

PM Modi kicked off his Maharasthra campaign in Wardha where he accused the Cong-NCP of stooping to the lowest lvel for vote-bank politics, alluding to the Aseemanaand verdict, accusing the Cong of coining the phrase Hindu terrorism and even mocked Pawar saying that he was losing the party (NCP) to his nephews.

In 2014, BJP and Shiv Sena won 23 and 18 seats respectively. The Congress just got two while the NCP won 4 and Swabhimani Paksha got 1.  In 2019, the BJP and Sena alliance is set to take on the Congress-NCP alliance.

Maharashtra is going to vote in four phases. Phase -1 (Date of polling: April 11, 2019)

Phase -3 (Date of polling: April 23, 2019)

Constituencies: Jalgaon, Raver, Jalna, Aurangabad, Raigad, Pune, Baramat, Ahmednagar,

Madha, Sangli, Satara, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Kolhapur, Hatkanangle

Phase -4 (Date of polling: April 29, 2019)

Constituencies: Nandurbar, Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Palghar, Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Thane, Mumbai

North, Mumbai North-West, Mumbai North-East, Mumbai North-Central, Mumbai South-Central
