She along with her trusted strategist Bhupendra Yadav summoned the leaders and MLAs from Barmer, Bharatpur and Sikar where the party’s certain sections have been condemning the leadership for not giving ticket to rightful candidates.

While there was agitation going on in Sikar against his candidature, party’s candidate Swami Sumedhanand was summoned at the chief minister’s residence. All MLAs attended the meeting except Manvendra Singh who is son of Jaswant Singh and MLA from Shiv (Barmer). “Now he (Manvendra) will fall ill,” quipped an MLA.

After the meeting, the MLAs said that they were with the candidate chosen by the party and they would accompany him and the chief minister when Col Sonaram goes to file his nominations. “We are with the candidate who has been given ticket by the party,” said Amraram Choudhary, Pachpadra MLA.
