Tapas Pal apologises amidst growing furore, hashtag #MPthreatensrape goes viral on Twitter

TMC MP Tapas Pal's controversial comments, threatening to let his boys into CPI(M) workers homes and have their women raped, sparked outrage throughout the country. 

Ever since the video of Tapas Pal shouting abuses at rival party workers began doing rounds, people all over the country have taken to express thier fury at such statements. Even as Pal continues to claim to have said 'raid' and not 'rape', major political parties wash their hands off his issue, claiming that he needs to be put behind bars. While they are busy airing their griviences, many Indians have taken to twitter to record their absolute horror and grave dissapoinment at such sentiments.
