PM Narendra Modi meets his top ministers to discuss the govt's one year in power

Reports say that PM Modi and his ministers will also discuss on how to tackle the aggressive Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned home late on Tuesday night after wrapping up his six-day tour that took him to China, Mongolia and South Korea where he held bilateral talks and signed several pacts to bolster India's relations with the three East Asian countries.

On Wednesday morning, PM Modi is reportedly scheduled meets his five top minister and discuss the completion of the government's first year in power.

Reports suggest that the top five ministers are Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, Parliamentary Minister Venkaiah Naidu and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. They are expected to drive up to the PM's residence.

PM Modi will probably be briefing his ministers about his three-nation Asian tour. Sources say that the party members will also discuss with the PM on how to tackle the opposition Congress.

The celebrations for BJP's one year in power is expected to kick off on May 25. There is a rally planned in Mathura which is the hometown of Deen Dayal Upadhyay, the patriarch of the party's ideological mentor of the RSS. 

May 26 is also to be observed as Jan Kalyan Parv (People's Welfare Festival). Reportedly, the BJP is also planning week-long programmes across the country starting May 26 and will continue upto May 31.
