National Peoples Party's Amber MLA Navin Pilania today walked out of the House claiming that he was not given time to speak.

"I had been requesting the Speaker since morning to provide me time to speak in the House. Members from the ruling and Opposition parties were being given extra time to speak," he said.

The MLA protested in the Assembly after Leader of the Opposition Rameshwar Dudi was allowed extra 15 minutes to speak.

Pilania asked why Dudi was given extra time while others others were denied their right.

The NPP leader left the House shortly before the Chief Minister's Motion of Thanks to the Governor's address.

Pilania was backed by Independent MLA from Lunkaransar Manik Chand Surana. He said time should be evenly distributed.
