Nitin Gadkari and other union minsters to tour Bihar to publicise Modi govt's work

 Bracing for crucial Bihar poll later this year, BJP on Saturday announced tours of several Union ministers including Nitin Gadkari next week to "spread among people good works" of Narendra Modi government in the past one year.

 Bracing for crucial Bihar poll later this year, BJP on Saturday announced tours of several Union ministers including Nitin Gadkari next week to "spread among people good works" of Narendra Modi government in the past one year.

Bihar BJP President Mangal Pandey told reporters that several Union ministers would fan across the state along with state leaders from May 26-31 as part of "Jan Kalyan Parva (festival)" to make people aware about works of the Modi government in past one year. BJP has already indicated that performance of Narendra Modi government would be its main focus in Bihar poll.

As per schedules given, Union Surface Transport minister Nitin Gadkari would be in Patna on May 26, the day Modi government completes one year in office. Gadkari's cabinet colleagues Kalraj Mishra and Santosh Gangwar would be in Gopalganj and Nalanda respectively on that day to tell about difference the country witnessed in past one year.

Union Food minister and LJP chief Ramvilas Paswan will be in Muzaffarpur on May 26, Union minister for state Upendra Kushwaha in Kaimur and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi in Purnea on the day, he said releasing the tour programme. While, Nitin Gadkari would return on the same day, Mishra, Gangwar, Paswan, Upendra Kushwaha and others would stay back and attend series of functions on successive days. Union Information Technology minister Ravishankar Prasad would join the campaign from May 27 with a programme in Motihari.

Union minister Uma Bharti would attend a function in Danapur in Patna district on May 28, according to the tour schedule. Union Agriculture minister Radhamohan Singh, Union minister of state (Independent charge) Rajiv Pratap Rudy, ministers of state Ramkripal Yadav and Giriraj Singh would also chip in.

Along with battery of central ministers, senior Bihar BJP leaders like Sushil Kumar Modi, Nand Kishore Yadav and state party chief Mangal Pandey would tour the state. Pandey said all the programmes would be held under NDA banner with equal participation of BJP and allies LJP and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP).
