Teams of NIA and central intelligence agencies rushed to Bihar's Bodh Gaya on Saturday after a low-intensity bomb exploded and two live ones were detected the previous night.

Agencies fear that Rohingyas are being used by Pakistan-based terror outfit LeT and the Indian wing of Al-Qaida to target Buddhist sites to avenge their persecution in Myanmar.

A senior NIA officer said, "It is too early to say which group has carried out the attacks. The features of the bombs suggest untrained Rohingyas were used by Pakistan-based terror outfits to carry out attacks at Mahabodhi Temple complex in Bodh Gaya."

Intelligence sleuths are trying to find the role of locals involved in the transportation of the bombs into the temple. Sources said that they are trying to trace Rohingyas living in the state.
