A day after BJP MP Udit Raj called Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung a "super king" and called for his removal, Arvind Kejriwal latched on to the opportunity.

Early Saturday morning, in a series of tweet, Kejriwal not only targeted Jung but also PM Narendra Modi.

Kejriwal tweeted:

Najeeb Jund and Kejriwal has been locked in a tussle on several issues since AAP government came to power in Delhi.  But it seems like Delhi CM is looking to trade guns on Narendra Modi by giving a backhanded compliment to Najeeb Jung.

On Friday, BJP MP and prominent Dalit leader Udit Raj had demanded ouster of Najeeb Jung. Udit Raj termed Jung as a 'super king' for not heeding the views of elected representatives, a day after three of his supporters were arrested for allegedly assaulting an IAS officer. "The Lt Governor is behaving as a super king. He must be removed. I will write to the Centre against him," Udit Raj said, adding that he had to wait for 3-4 days to talk to Jung to discuss 'serious' public matters.

On the arrest of his supporters for allegedly assaulting North West Delhi District Magistrate Sanjay Goel in outer Delhi's Kanjhawla area on Thursday, the MP accused police of acting under pressure from bureaucrats. Asked whether his demand to remove Jung was related to the assault case, Raj claimed it is a separate issue.
