1: Haseena Parker was the younger sister of Dawood Ibrahim, seventh among 11 siblings, who was married to Ismail Parker.
2: It was the murder of Ismail Parkar by Dawood's rival Arun Gawli gang that led Haseena into the crime world. Dawood took revenge of Ismail's murder in JJ Hospital shootout in 1991.
3: Soon, Haseena moved in Golden Hall Apartments in Nagpada, which became her criminal heaquarters.
4: While Nagpada residents called her 'aapa' or elder sister, it is said that Haseena ran her crime syndicate from Golden Hall and reportedly had assets worth Rs 5,000 crore.
5: From Hawala, to overseas rights of Bollywood movies, from extortion to construction sector, Haseena had say in everything. She ruled Mumbai like an underworld queen.
6: Such was her influence in 2007 that every builder would ask her to get them permission from slum dwellers to for their projects.
7: Back in 90s, when the cable war had just started, all cable operators would ask Haseena to demarcate areas of operations.
8: Haseena Parker died of heart attack on July 7, 2014.
9: According to an Indian Express report, between 2005 and 2007, Haseena Parker was the most tailed Dawood family member, with intelligence inputs of sightings of her in Dubai as she left the country for religious tours.
