India to recieve rainfall, thundershower for next 48 hours

Isolated regions in the country have recieved rainfall on Saturday.

In the east, regions in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal,Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar. Dry weather would prevail in Arunachal Pradesh. 

In the northern part of the nation saw rainfall in Uttarakhand. Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, as well as in isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan.

Central regions of India recieved rainfalls in isolated places in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chattisgarh. 

Southern peninsula regions of north interior Karanataka,coastal and south interior Karnataka, many places in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra,coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema,Tamil Nadu, Kerala and a few places in Marathawda, Telangana and as well as Gujarat State Islands

May regions in Lakshadweep and a few places in Andaman and Nicobar experienced rainfall on Saturday.

The rainfall is expected too continue for next 48 hours.

According to Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rainfall will occur on Sunday at isolated places over south Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Interior Tamil Nadu.

Heavy rainfall is expected to occur at isolated places over Interior Tamil Nadu on Monday.
