M Veerappa Moily, union minister for petroleum and natural gas, is seeking re-election from Chikballapur. Despite anti-incumbency, he is trying his best to get elected to the Lok Sabha from here. Do you support 33% reservation for women in parliament?Yes, I want more and more women should be in public life.

UPA Government has already taken the initiative to ensure 33 per cent reservation for women in the parliament.Do you support controversial changes to law, such as legislation of gay sex?I have to look into it.How should we solve the Kashmir problem?Let the elections are over.How should we settle the border dispute with China?

Are you for foreign direct investment in retail trade?I am not against to foreign direct investment as long as it doesn't affect retailers.What are the hurdles that you still find in solving drinking water crisis in Chikkaballapur constituency?With the foundation stone for Ethinahole laid on March 3, 2014, the work has begun at the sight on the other end. As it is there are no hurdles. In less than 36 months the people of this region can reap the benefit of this unique, historic project. Additionally nearly a crore people of neighbouring districts of Kolar, Tumkur, Bengaluru rural and urban,can also be the beneficiaries of this drinking water project. .
