A 24-year-old man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly posting an objectionable picture of the newly appointed Uttar Pradesh Chief minister, Yogi Adityanath.
Rahat Khan was arrested after a complaint was filed against him by the Hindu Yuva Vahini, a youth group founded by Adityanath, on Thursday.
According to the complaint, Khan had allegedly posted an obscene picture of the UP CM on Facebook urging the people to share the post on social media and expose him. He also stated that UP should be saved from the clutches of this “traitor”.
Khan is employed as an operator at a public utility center. A case was registered under relevant sections of Indian Penal Court (IPC) following the complaint of the Hindu Yuva Vahini.
