New Delhi [India], August 22 (ANI-NewsVoir): CAYA Constructs, a social enterprise, collaborated with the blockbuster satirical comedy ?Toilet: Ek Prem Katha? (TEPK), starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar. This quirky tale on toilets supports Prime Minister Narendra Modi?s Swachh Bharat Mission, a governmental campaign to improve sanitation and hygiene conditions in India.

This unique love story is based in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Keshav and Jaya are from two villages near Mathura, where at least 80 percent of the households do not have access to toilets. Trouble comes knocking on the first day of their marriage, when Jaya leaves Keshav's house after discovering that there is no toilet in the village. Distraught and desperate, Keshav sets out on the mission to win his love back - he successfully battles against the age-old practices and traditional mindsets in the country to bring toilets to his village.

Beyond the movie, TEPK team is collaborating with CAYA Constructs to improve access to toilets and ensure their proper use. CAYA Constructs is a social enterprise, working towards the Swachh Bharat Mission and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through product innovation. The company manufactures ?eco-friendly and well-ventilated? toilets that come with an environmentally safe waste management system.

CAYA has already set-up 80 community toilets across seven states that are painted with caricatures of Akshay and Bhumi along with educational messages on toilet etiquettes. Further, they are conducting behaviour change communication workshops on sanitation and hygiene in slums and governement schools in Delhi/NCR that include puppet shows, handwashing exercises and other games. CAYA and TEPK have also developed a comic book based on the movie that promotes use of toilet to prevent diseases and improve health.

?We are here to create an impact in the society through our innovative sustainable solutions. The strong social message in the movie and the awareness campaigns with CAYA will surely help us move towards the goals of making the country ?Open Defecation Free? by 2019,? said Navneet Garg, Founder and CEO of CAYA.
