BJP always worked for development of Muslims, says Shahnawaz Hussain

BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain on Wednesday said that while BJP has always lent a helping hand for the development of Muslims, Congress has only used Muslims for political gains since long. 

Addressing a public meeting organised in support of BJP’s candidate Jitu Jirati from Rau constituency, Hussain praised Shivraj Singh Chouhan for changing the fate of the state. He said BJP advocates for development without any discrimination and Chouhan has proved it in Madhya Pradesh. Lashing out at Congress, he said Muslims have suffered during Congress rule.

“Congress had only talked about the welfare of the minorities but had given them nothing but frail promises. The Muslims are still the under developed and poor,” said Hussain.

 He said that the Food Security Bill had shortcomings and yet it was passed despite objections by BJP.

The country is fed up of Congress and is in dire need of change to get relief from ill- governance and faulty policies.

“BJP is a well wisher of Muslims and people will vote the party to power to bring in the desired change,” added Hussain.

While highlighting the failures of UPA government, Jirati said that people are struggling for survival due to inflation which is a result of scams and corruption besides faulty policies of the UPA government. 

“People should come forward to get rid of Congress and should vote for BJP,” said Jirati.

He later conducted public contact programmes and met people in Bijalpur, Gadbadi, Mahadev Nagar, Martand Nagar and adjoining areas.
