People are freaking over Tom Hardy's 'Venom' with googly eyes

When the first official trailer for Tom Hardy's outing as Venom was released it surpassed the popularity of Wonder Woman and Doctor Strange when it comes to counting views of the trailer spread across various social media platform.

The second trailer for the Spider-Man spin-off franchise was unveiled on Tuesday and it again became part of the viral stuff-meme world because someone wondered what would it be like if Venom had eyes.

Twitter user and podcast host Matthew Gaydos shared two photoshopped images of the alien anti-hero that re-imagine Venom with cartooning blue eyes.

Hardy who plays journalist Eddie Brock in the movie had revealed at San Diego Comic-Con he took up the role because of his 10-year-old son.

Wonder what his son thinks of googly eyes Venom.

At SDCC, Hardy had described  Brock as anti-hero. "His ethical structure is off and he goes around the outside to get things done. But he does have a good heart."

Talking about the symbiote, Hardy had said the villainous trait of the alien species is 'grounded yet more violent.'

Venom is set to release on October 5. Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the movie also stars Michelle Williams, Jenny Slate, Woody Harrelson, Reid Scott, and Riz Ahmed. The rumour has it that Tom Holland as Spider-Man will make a cameo too.
