Holland is the best place to eat in the world, as it has been named the healthiest country, according to a new survey.

Fit Dutch chow down on the healthiest food based on nutrition and availability of grub, the Daily Star reported.

But the UK only makes it to number 13 on the list, new research from Oxfam reveals.

It could be worse for the UK, with Americans way down in 21st place – despite the US having the most affordable food in the world.

The report analysed 125 different countries, looking at whether people have enough to eat, can afford to eat, the quality of food and the spread of diet-related diseases.

Healthy Holland claimed top spot because of its low food prices, low diabetes levels and top nutrition

France and Switzerland finished in second and third places.

But the top dogs did not score well all round. Despite being No1, Holland has high obesity levels.

At the bottom of the table, Chad is the worst place to eat because of poor nutrition, high prices and grubby conditions.

Meanwhile Angola has the least affordable food in the world.
