What a casting coup! 'Student Of The Year' sequel to star Saif Ali Khan's daughter and Shahid Kapoor's brother?

Student Of The Year launched three of the most prominent faces in Bollywood today. Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra- all three are stars in their own space right now. Karan Johar is planning a sequel to that film and he's already finalised the star cast of his next film.

Initially, it was Sridevi's daughter Jahnavi Kapoor who was supposed to make her foray into Bollywood with this film. But now, we hear that instead of her, KJo has planned to rope in someone else for the film. Who? Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan. And guess who she's paired with? Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishan Khattar.

Sara is Saif's daughter from Amrita Singh whereas Ishan is Shahid's half-brother. And this is possibly one of the best casting coups ever and who better than KJo to pull it off! After all, Shahid and Saif had an interesting past as well.

Shahid was with Kareena Kapoor who dumped him for Saif a few years back. Ever since then, there was a certain amount of tension brewing between the three. Now, it seems that the ice has finally broken. Saif and Shahid are working together in Rangoon whereas Shahid got Kareena on board for Udta Punjab. So it seems that Ishan and Sara's pairing won't be much of a problem either.
