Trust Salman to always be different. With Prem Ratan Dhan Payo as well, Salman is trying to do things with a different touch. After launching the theatrical trailer of the film last week, the actor has now unveiled the first song from the film, titled Prem Leela.
Prem Leela has Salman, the inimitable Prem, with his trademark antics, lighting up the stage. Yes, Salman has two distinct roles in the film- one of a prince and the other of a nautanki artist who does Ram Leela in Ayodhya. So Prem Leela will also be the introductory song for Salman's Prem avatar in the film.
A peppy number, the song has some beautiful frames and visuals and Salman aces the act, in a beautiful blue kurta and dhoti. Although Salman's energy level and charisma make for a decent watch, the song is not that great. The song sounds a little bland towards the end and what could have been one of the best introductory songs for the actor, given that he returns to screen as Prem after 16 long years, is reduced to just another track which doesn't do full justice to Salman's star power.
Despite the minor glitches, the song has been shot well and Salman definitely nails it with his moves.
