After the world premier of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 in Los Angeles, Marvel Studios released a small clip from the movie reminding why everyone loves this band of misfits.

In the clip, the Guardians are fighting a giant space-creature-worm that has tentacles and teeth that will put a herd of sharks to shame.

Gamora (Zoe Saldana) is seen firing at the creature with her laser gun and Drax (Dave Bautista) tries to provide another solution to fighting the enemy from within. Gamora knows that the idea will not work and tries her best to dissuade Drax. No can do. Drax runs up to the beast and then gets in to cut it with his daggers from the inside.

Now it's up to Gamora, Star-Lord/Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), and Rocket (Bradley Cooper) to kill the beast to get Drax out. While there is no way to figure out where Baby Groot (Vin Diesel) is.

The second installment of the Guardians franchise is set to release on May 5. According to the reactions from the journalists who were lucky enough to get a press screening on Monday, the movie is filled with easter eggs and may have multiple mid-credit and end-credit scenes.

Directed by James Gunn, the movie will introduce Kurt Russell as Star-Lord's father, Ego, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Chris Sullivan as Taserface, and Elizabeth Debicki as the villain, Ayesha. Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn will also reprise their respective roles. Sylvester Stallone and David Hasselhoff have a surprise role.
