Watch: 'Kaari Kaari' is a soul stirring track from Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu's 'Pink'

The makers of the movie Pink have released another song from the movie titled ‘Kaari Kaari. Unlike their peppy track 'Jeeney De Mujhe' this number is a slow and soulful track that is sure to tug at your heartstrings.

The song is dark and brings to light the the tumultuous events that overshadow the three girls’ lives in the movie. The lyrics are hard hitting and depict the plight of women in the country who are bound by the shackles of the judgmental society and their search for hope. What adds to the impact of the song is the soul stirring music that will move you to the core.

Penned by renowned poet, lyricist and writer Tanveer Ghazi, the song has been crooned by Pakistani music sensation Quratulain Balouch who is making her Bollywood debut with this song. 

The Shoojit Sircar movie, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirtu Kulhari, Andrea Tariang and Angad Bedi, will hit the theatres on September 16.
