Was Pratyusha Banerjee in a live-in relationship with Rahul Singh? The late actress' mother BREAKS SILENCE

The late TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee's mother Soma Banerjee was present at the prayer meet on the first death anniversary of her daughter. While interacting with the media, Soma said, "Who is Rahul to Pratyusha? What was his relationship with my late daughter? They were not in a live-in relationship,” reports BollywoodLife.

She further added, "After coming to Mumbai, my daughter was not in a live-in relationship, Rahul was staying with us. He conspired, separates our daughter from us, and then started staying at her place, calling it a live-in relation. He conspired, created pressure on my daughter and killed her.” 

Also present at the do were Pratyusha's father Shankar Banerjee and her friend Kamya Panjabi among others. Reportedly, singer Harshdep Kaur sang one of the actress' favourite songs, Jo Bheji Thi Dua, following which her mother broke down in tears. 

For the uninitiated, the Balika Vashu actress was apparently going through a rough phase in her personal and professional life. She committed suicide at her Mumbai apartment on April 1, last year.
